The 9OFS 

Arguably the venue with the most awe-inspiring, jaw-dropping Boston skyline views is the 9OFS located in the heart of the financial district. This rooftop outdoor wedding venue has a distinctly sophisticated, contemporary, and unforgettable charm that leaves all who attend simply stunned. 

This outdoor venue is sought after for warm summer and fall evenings when the city lights just kiss the brilliant colors of a setting sun. An open-air garden and a reflecting pool with fountains are at the center of 9OFS’ outdoor space. It may not be considered “old Boston,” but it’s an unquestionably beautiful and fun, and funky place to host a wedding celebration.

Outdoor Wedding Venues in the Greater Boston Area

Elm Bank Horticulture Center

Suppose the lights and sights of the city are not your ideal choice for a wedding venue. In that case, the Elm Bank Horticulture Center in Wellesley, MA, provides a more traditional and almost fairytale backdrop for an extravagant wedding ceremony.  

Wedding guests will feel like they’re in The Secret Garden as they arrive at a wooded driveway and navigate through a historic and tranquil 36-acre property to an outdoor wedding venue. The Connors Center

A 30-acre park and museum in Lincoln, MA, is run by the Trustees of Reservation. This wonderful national non-profit organization saves and maintains beautiful plots of lands and buildings for public enjoyment, in this case, providing an unusual setting for a wedding and reception. Wedding guests can walk amongst the sculpture gardens between wedding events and enjoy dinner and dancing in the large tented area. 

Heritage of Sherborn

Shelbourne, MA, is a quintessential, quaint New England town with much charm to spare! The Heritage of Sherborn is a beautiful country inn that will appeal to those looking for a wedding venue that is timeless in its natural-historic beauty. 

There’s plenty of space for a large tent on the grounds. The Inn itself sets the mood for a relaxed, fun, and warm wedding atmosphere. Guests from outside New England will marvel at this gem, and locals will wonder why they had never stayed there before!
